LCM undertook a major expansion in 2013, moving to a new facility in Ellesmere Port in Cheshire, UK and introducing significant additional vacuum furnace capacity.
LCM has its own on site analytical facility for the qualification of materials and holds both ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications. It also participates in a number of European projects focusing on the recycling of strategic materials.
All LCM operations are conducted to the highest possible Health and Safety standards, with adherence to legislation being regarded as the absolute minimum requirement. LCM recognises the critical importance of an comprehensive Health and safety culture and works tirelessly to ensure this is in place throughout the business. Over 90% of LCM employees, including senior management, administrative staff, technical and production staff have successfully completed the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health four-day Managing Safety course and LCM will look to maintain this percentage as high as practical going forward.
